Alison Poole

Hi there! I'm Alison Poole, and I proudly serve as the counselor for the Class of 2025. Originally from Michigan, I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) with a Bachelor's in Family and Community Services. I also hold a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Liberty University. I've been married for 17 wonderful years and am a proud mom of two kids!

With 20 years of experience in education, I started my journey in Sanford, NC, in 2005 as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer, working for a Drop-Out Prevention program for three years. In 2008, I joined the team at Lee County High School as the Career Development Coordinator, and later transitioned into my current role as a school counselor. I absolutely love working with students, helping them with academic guidance, career planning, and social-emotional development. Our doors are always open, and I'm here to support you every step of the way!
