Alison Poole

Hello! My name is Alison Poole and I am the class of 2025 Counselor. I was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University (GO SPARTANS!) with a Bachelor's Degree in Family and Community Services. I earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Liberty University. I have two kids and have been married for 16 years!

This is my 18th year working in education. I came to Sanford, NC as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in 2005 and worked for a Drop-Out prevention program for three years. In 2008, I came to LCHS and served as the Career Development Coordinator for 10 years. I am currently in my sixth year as a school counselor. l LOVE working with students and can assist with academics, career planning and social emotional development. Our doors are always open!
