On October 10, 2023, instructors, Travis Nixon and Jason Foyer, and Project Manager, Kacie Desmond, received the second place prize for Voya’s Unsung Heroes Award, which recognizes innovative teaching and projects across the country.

We celebrated the completion of our second tiny home project in June 2022 with a ribbon cutting and housewarming event. One of our students and our instructor participated in a podcast from the California Charter Schools Association in January 2022. The tiny home piece starts at 18:20.
