Role: Website admin, designer
I’ve always been very invested in sustainability and the environment. I am excited to be able to work with so many people on creating a more sustainable community. I am working on the website, newsletter and Instagram account in order to promote the eco-crew and sustainability in general.
Role: Newsletter writer & Earth prize, eco garden
I love being able to have the chance to promote a more sustainable way of living and being part of EcoCrew gives me that opportunity to spread awareness, find new ideas and create new things to follow a more sustainable path. Specially, being able to have an impact on my school is my first step of reaching out to the public including my upcoming project the Earth Prize which is a competition in which a group come ‘s up with a sustainable product that will help others and later be judged for if its a good idea.
Role: Helping in the Eco-Garden, earthprize
Tending to a garden has always been a passion for me. I’ve always been passionate about the environment. In my old school in Mauritius, I was head of the gardening club and was in charge of designing new irrigation systems using cheap and reused materials like spare plastic pipes and others. I learned multiple things while working at the garden and learned how to grow some crops like potatoes and carrots. I always wanted to have my own garden, but I live in an apartment and the balcony was already taken. Helping out in the eco garden will give me the opportunity to express my inner gardener and help me improve, make the school more sustainable and learn new skills.

I have a strong belief in the ability and responsibility of humanity to act decisively in our current climate crisis.
Role: Running Jr. EcoCrew + committed EcoCrew member
I am a passionate and driven student when it comes to issues in relation to the environment and sustainability. My goal is to have a positive impact on my fellow students, giving them a platform to take meaningful action within the school community. I feel a stong duty to protect the earth and it’s citizens.
Role: committed creative eco-crew member
Our planet's environment and wildlife is stunning and beautiful. It holds so many wonders and secrets hidden from the human eye. It also holds a massive importance in the life of Earth and without these ecosystems we would disappear. This is why I joined Eco-Crew to be more involved in changing the world’s decisions about being sustainable.
Role: Part of the upcycling team
I really want to make a positive change on the world, i am passionate about the outdoors and love spending time outside. When i was younger i wanted to set up my own eco-association but due to complications never got round to out. I then discover the eco-crew and joined it as it seemed a fun, chill ‘crew’
Role: Part of the upcycling team
I came up with the idea of upcycling plastics after seeing the vast amount of waste produced by the cafeteria. I’ve always felt that it’d be too hard to take action but Ecocrew is empowering and allows me to make a change.
Role: Website admin, and part of the newsletter
I'm a year 12 student and have been passionate about the environment for many years. Both my geo classes and the world happenings, have prompted me to be more active in our school to mitigate our effect on the climate. Although currently I work on the ECOcrew newsletter, I hope to continue my work in a more hands on way in the upcoming months. I hope that I can continue to study climate change mitigation in University so that one day our climate will be stable and healthy.
Trees are fun!
