• National Junior Honor Society (NJHS):

"The National Junior Honor Society is a national organization to recognize individual student academic achievement. The first chapter was founded in 1929 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP). The first chapter was established in the lower grades of the Webster Groves High School in Missouri. The first charter to a junior high school was granted to Clarinda Junior High School in Iowa. NJHS chapters are found in all 50 states, US Territories, and around the world."

• The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS):

"The National Elementary Honor Society was established in 2008 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) in partnership with the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP). NEHS recognizes students for their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility."

• The National Association of Student Councils (NASC):

"NASC stands as a beacon of leadership development, unwavering in our mission to mold the leaders of tomorrow. We’re committed to nurturing student leadership, fostering a spirit of service, elevating student voices, and inspiring active participation in both school and community leadership."

• The Lion's Roar Chapter of the NEHS at LEARN Hunter Perkins Charter School:

The Lion's Roar Chapter was founded and duly chartered (Charter  #01900367) on August 14th, 2024  by Chapter Adviser G.N. Whitaker under the leadership of Principal Cynthia Johnson. The Lion's Roar Chapter management and oversight is provided  by the Principal, Chapter Adviser and the Faculty Council. The faculty members of the Lion's Roar Chapter Faculty Council are:

• The Lion's Pride Chapter of the NJHS at LEARN Hunter Perkins Charter School

The Lion's Pride Chapter was founded and duly chartered (Charter  #01900367) on August 14th, 2024  by Chapter Adviser G.N. Whitaker under the leadership of Principal Cynthia Johnson. The Lion's Pride Chapter management and oversight is provided  by the Principal, Chapter Adviser and the Faculty Council. The faculty members of the Lion's Pride Chapter Faculty Council are:

• The Pride of the Southside Student Council at LEARN Hunter Perkins Charter School

The Pride of the Southside Student Council is managed by Nakiya Matthews under the oversight of the Principal and Chapter Adviser. The student council consists of members of the Learn Hunter Perkins student body and is governed by elected student officials.
