SY '24-24 Winter Service Project
Hosted by NJHS, NEHS, & NASC
This service project will be a campaign drive for toiletry items to create hygiene kits to donate to an identified Homeless Shelter: Matthew House Inc. Another component of this service project will be our hosting of a plenary panel discussion at our campus that would involve community stakeholders, NPO representatives from the shelter, and members of our student body.
•••••TRAVEL SIZE ITEMS (toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, hand sanitizer, kleenex, bodywash, lotion, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, dental floss, feminine hygiene products, shaving cream, nail clippers, hair ties, hairbrush, comb, sunscreen, bug spray, band-aids, lip balm, and etc.).
•••••This campaign will be a grade band competition (K-2 Primary, 3-5 Elementary, 6-8 Middle) and the winner in each grade band will have the option to receive one of the following: Movie Day in the MPR, Nacho Party, or Pizza Party along with a dress down on that particular day.
