Students must research, create, and host their own event. The event should connect to an area of personal interest or a passion.
Ideally, there is an opportunity for not only students, teachers and parents to participate, but also for the community.
Students who are interested in:
Raising awareness
Event planning, management or leadership
Networking
Social activism
Make a positive contribution to community or school
Developing a solid understanding of your chosen area of interest (why, what, where, who, etc...).
You want an event style that works best for you and your area of interest: entertainment event, sports event, educational event, fundraising event, awareness event, online event etc.
