My Core Competencies

Why are we doing this? The Core Competencies are sets of intellectual, personal, and social and emotional proficiencies that all students need in order to engage in deep, lifelong learning. 

What do I need to do now? Please use the Core Competency Learning Map (Task info on the GC) to provide evidence and reflection of your abilities within the core competencies. You should use this as a working document and add to it throughout the next few weeks! You will need to link or attach screenshots of your Core Competency Map to your Core Competency tab.

How does this relate to my Capstone Presentation? You will need to include the Core Competencies in your presentation. Be prepared to highlight your strength(s) as well as what you feel you need to work on. If you do not include it, your panel members will ask you about them so make sure that you familiarize yourself with them!
