Design Thinking for Innovation

The Design Thinking for Innovation (DTI) 15-25-35 course progression immerses students in projects centered on innovation or invention, focusing on the design, prototyping, and refinement of ideas. These interdisciplinary projects blend two distinct fields, encouraging students to integrate knowledge across subjects while applying design thinking and emerging technologies to solve complex, iterative challenges. Students collaborate with educators, mentors, or community members to define the project, set goals, and co develop assessment criteria.
