Basic List of Tasks for Student-Athlete:
1) Create NCAA account: https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/
2) Make an appointment with your designated School Counsellor to discuss your plans, important deadline dates and expectations, and you will request of your school counsellor to email your Grade 9 marks to NCAA EC-Processing <ec-processing@ncaa.org> ( NCAA ID Number required)
3) Submit Grade 10 -12 Transcript to NCAA eligibility center using your myPass account in the fall of Grade 12
4) Identify school (s) you want to attend and research the academic programs they offer along with scholarships for international student-athletes
5) Determine that your high school courses will satisfy NCAA eligibility (link below) and Admission to the school you want to attend
6) Reach out to coach of school (s) you want to play sport at
7) Contact post-secondary school to determine if a SAT or ACT is required for Admission (links below)
8) Order an official transcript to your home at the end of November Grade 12 (to be given to your designate counsellor for document upload reference to Common App)
9) Apply to post-secondary school via their website or the Common App ( link below) in the fall of your Grade 12 year
10) Include your designated School Counsellor in the Common App
