Ranger Time ~ This is a shortened class period in the middle of the day (after 1st/5th periods). During this time, students can portal into approved groups, club meetings, or tutorials with teachers. Students can also use this time to work on homework, read a book, or just take a quiet break during the day.
Home Access Center (Student & Parent Portal) ~ LISD uses Home Access Center (HAC) as a web portal that allows parents and students to view grades, assignments, assessments, immunizations, attendance and discipline information online. *Please submit the Home Access Center Help Request, if you need assistance accessing your account.
Lockers ~ Lockers can be requested in person at the Attendance Office.
mLISD technology ~ At VRHS, all students are required to use some form of technology in their classes. They can choose to participate in the mLISD program in which they receive a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop or they may bring their own device to use. Naviance Family Connection ~ Naviance Family Connection is a comprehensive website that Leander ISD high school students can use to help them explore college and career options. *Please contact your student's counselor to gain an access code.
Parking Permits ~ Parking Permits are available to purchase through VRHS's Assistant Principal's office.
Photo IDs ~ New students to Vista Ridge High School will receive a Photo ID after having their picture taken during school picture day
School Meals ~ Meal prices, menus and nutritional information can be found on the LISD's Child and Nutrition Services website.
Transportation ~ Transportation is available for Leander ISD students who live two miles or more from their assigned school. LISD parents can get information on their students' bus stop locations and times by simply entering their street address and the student's grade level & school on the LISD's Transportation website. TransFinder will then give you a map showing your child's assigned bus stop, bus number. as well as, pick up and drop off times.
