Welcome to Theatre 2! This is a very special class and I am so excited you are apart of it. Your class will have 2 seniors that have auditioned to be directors this year helping to direct our in class shows. The focus is to move beyond the basics of theatre and really focus on performance and crafting our skills in acting. There will be 2 performances this year you are required to be in. One during each semester. You will have fun, grow as an actor and be given plenty of stage time!
Grading
10% Participation/Formative: class participation, audience etiquette, group work, daily work
50% Performance/Summative: performances
40% Projects/Summative: projects, tests
Late Work
● Because of the time sensitive nature of theatre, credit for late work will be determined by the director on a case by case basis.
Students may arrange a suitable time to make up their work - before or after school and at lunch - whatever will work for student and teacher on a per student basis.
