JV Theatre Production
In this course you will be CHALLENGED and PUSHED to the next level as an actor. The expectations are HIGH and excuses not tolerated. There is an emphasis on ensemble and it is very much both about YOU and about the GROUP at the same time. We will cover many in depth acting techniques as we rehearse this season’s one act play and other shows. My goal is that you leave this year a better actor, a young person of depth and character, and a person who sees his or her interconnection with the rest of the world. This class is auditioned based, and is a privilege, not a right. You will be expected to fully participate, give your full 100%, and always maintain an attitude of excellence.
Grading
10% Participation/Formative: class participation, audience etiquette, group work, daily work

Late Work
● Because of the time sensitive nature of theatre, credit for late work will be determined by the director on a case by case basis.
Students may arrange a suitable time to make up their work - before or after school and at lunch - whatever will work for student and teacher on a per student basis.
