Musical Theatre 

This class will focus on musical theatre history, vocal skills, dance, choreography, and we will perform our very own musical in May. This is a large class and will really challenge you to break out of your comfort zone. Get ready to move, sing (or pretend to!) and have a lot fun while learning all about theatre and musical theatre!

Grading 

10% Participation/Formative: class participation, audience etiquette, group work, daily work

50% Performance/Summative: performances

40% Projects/Summative: projects, tests

Late Work 

● Because of the time sensitive nature of theatre, credit for late work will be  determined by the director on a case by case basis. 

Students may arrange a suitable time to make up their work - before or after school and  at lunch - whatever will work for student and teacher on a per student basis.
