A little about myself-

I've been teaching at Leander High School since 2004 and have enjoyed working with some amazing kids. Although others have come and gone since I began teaching here, I have truly found a home at L.H.S. I am so grateful to be given the opportunity to work with your truly gifted kids in Leander's art program. This year I will be teaching Ceramics, Sculpture, Art 1, and 3-D AP. I hope to inspire your students to develop a passion for learning more about the process, development, and evaluation of their own artwork as well as others'. These tools can help with a deeper appreciation for the ever-growing and changing world around us.

On a more personal note: I have been a resident of the Cedar Park/Leander area since 1997 with my husband (also a teacher in Austin) of 29 years and my 22-year-old daughter. Both my husband and I attended UT Austin and are proud to pass this tradition along to our daughter who just graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering as a long horn.

I enjoy travelling, supporting wildlife conservation and expressing these passions through my own art work.
