Completing College Applications

Always thoroughly read the information on a college's admission web page to make sure you submit all parts of the application.

What Application Do I Use?

The Common Application

The Common App is used by over 1000 colleges and universities - public, private, large, small, religious, and secular – ranging in geographic location from across the United States and around the world. Many Texas colleges now use Common App. If a college does, you should chose Common App over other application types for that school.

ApplyTexas

All Texas public and many private colletes use this application platform. Unlike Common App, you can't submit all your additional documents through Apply Texas which is why if you can use either Common App or Apply Texas, Common App will be easier to use.
