The art department hosts fundraisers for supply costs, but donations help free up funds for better quality art supplies!! The art room is always in need of some common household items that can be put to a new use. If you would be willing to donate any of the below items, please send them in with your student and we will make a new home for it!
The art department hosts fundraisers for supply costs, but donations help free up funds for better quality art supplies!! The art room is always in need of some common household items that can be put to a new use. If you would be willing to donate any of the below items, please send them in with your student and we will make a new home for it!
plastic grocery bags (used for clay)
clean plastic containers with or without lids (cottage cheese, sour cream, crystal light, yogurt, etc. used for everything)
old towels & rags (dish or bath-used for spills)
yarn/string/sewing supplies
large T-shirts/aprons to be used as smocks (school appropriate)
newspaper (used for clay & paper mache)
cookie cutters (used for clay)
cloth/material scraps (used for sewing)
scrap booking supplies
clothes Irons
hair dryers
leftover craft supplies & paint
that overwhelming collection of old school supplies....markers, pens, pencils, etc.
Items that would be better off recycled instead of donated: magazines, glass containers, any item that once held nut products (peanuts or tree nuts), thank you!
