The focus of LISD Art classes is to set a foundation of skills that students will use to create art and navigate life. Students will create works of art using creative problem solving skills and critical thought while learning technique, the language of design, art appreciation, and art history.

-This is a Semester class that rotates with Theater Arts
-Students can expect to make 15-18 projects in a variety of mediums
-This art curriculum is uniquely curated for 6th grade students of all skill sets. We explore identity, creativity, exploration, and self expression so all students can expect to experience successes, regardless of their art experience
-Fun, hands-on learning that focuses on self expression, acceptance, problem solving, and creative thinking!
Note About REMIND:
LISD automatically creates Remind accounts for classes. Since the majority of our artwork is going to be created during class, I rarely use this platform to communicate home.
My preferred method of communication is email, followed by phone.
