Dual Credit Enrollment

Follow these steps to enroll in ACC courses as a dual credit student.  Be sure to verify important ACC dates & deadlines.

New Students

Steps 1 - 4 are only for new-to-ACC students. New students continue to Step 5 after Steps 1 - 4.

ALL STEPS BELOW MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE STUDENT AND NOT THE PARENT

NOTE TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Per FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) a parent/guardian may not obtain ACC academic records or complete ACC processes without the student's written permission (through ACC). This includes steps in the enrollment and registration processes. 
2024-2025 Enrollment Priority Deadlines:
Summer 2024: Friday, March 29th
Fall 2024: Friday, April 19th

2. ID & Email

    • Applications are not processed on weekends/holidays
    • You will use your ACCeID regularly. Memorize / keep your number handy for regular use. 
    • You MUST send Mr. Nelson an email from your ACC gmail to prove that it has been set up. 
    • ACC email is another gmail account. YOU CANNOT BE LOGGED IN TO YOUR LISD GMAIL PROFILE AND ACCESS YOUR ACC EMAIL. You need to either create a new browser profile or use a different browser. 
    • If using a different browser doesn't work you must contact the ACC Help Desk

3. Orientation & Paperwork

Copies of paperwork will be available at Mr. Nelson's office starting Jan. 19, 2023

Failure to take and pass the ACC Orientation quiz will result in a hold on your account, preventing registration. Save a PDF copy of your confirmation to turn in on he Google form. It'll say 'Congratulations!' above a green box that has your name and ACCeID in bold. 

DUE TO EMAIL SIZE LIMITS, EMAILED PAPERWORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

4. TSI

The math portion of the TSI is only required if students are planning to take a math course that includes but is not limited to courses like College Algebra or Economics. All classes require students to be TSI complete in English.  Per ACC, PSAT 8/9 cannot be accepted for TSI status.

New & Returning Students

Steps 5-7 must be completed each semester to be eligible for registration.
New students cannot jump to steps 5-7 without steps 1-4.

5. Meeting

After completing steps 1-4, upload your paperwork and schedule an appointment with Mr. Nelson

Together, we will review your documents, outline course plans, and complete the LHS Dual Credit Online Enrollment Form (removes your AR7 hold each semester):


6. Planning

Plan the specific courses you wish to register for using ACC's online Self-Service website.

7. Registration

Register online via Self-Service within designated registration dates. Note: If you have not completed all previous steps, you cannot move on to this step and will have a hold on your account, preventing you from registration. 

If you do not complete this step, you are not enrolled in ACC courses. Until you fully register for your ACC courses, they will not be reflected in your LHS schedule. 

For summer courses, the course will not be removed from your next year LHS schedule until you successfully complete the summer course.
