You may or may not have heard about COOL Week in years past (this was always an awesome experience for our Seniors to explore career interests through job shadowing and visiting job sites)!! Leander ISD is revamping our long-standing work-based experience, known as COOL Week to COOL Experiences. Experiences will be open to various grade levels, however, not all experiences will be open to all grade levels. To ensure you stay in the loop and know how to register for the experiences see more information below. Reach out to Ms. Sabrsula in the College & Career Center with any questions.

COOL Convos

COOL Convos offer a more intimate experience between students and career professionals. Facilitated via Zoom, Convos give students the chance to have a more personable conversation and ask questions about specific career paths.

COOL Webinars

COOL Webinars will be more of a one-way delivery of information about a career path directly from the professionals to a larger audience. Facilitated by an LISD host, students will have the chance to use the Q&A feature via Zoom to ask questions.

COOL On-Location

COOL On-Location allows seniors the opportunity to intern or shadow with a business partner.

COOL Collaborations

COOL Collaborations will allow select students the opportunity to work on a hands-on project with a business partner.

COOL Excursions

COOL Excursions are field trips or site visits allowing students the opportunity to gain insight into day-to-day operations and career fields.
