**ACC Spring DEADLINES**
PRIORITY DEADLINE: Steps 1 - 5 must be completed by Wednesday, March 6, 2024
**ACC class seats are limited, therefore to ensure you have the best opportunity of getting a seat in an ACC class
Please follow all instructions and deadlines below**
Review this document to ensure you are aware of deadlines, etc.
New ACC Students
As a new ACC student, follow each of the steps below:
Step 1: Apply & Activate ID & Email
Complete the ACC's online application. (You will need to have your Social Security # for this step--If you do not have a SS#, complete this form to be assigned an alternate number.)
**Please note that you must wait 24 hours from submitting your application (above) in order to receive the ACCeID you need to activate (below)**
Activate your ACCeID by going to ACCeID Activation and clicking on Activate ACCeID link.
Activate your ACC email account by going to Activation & Login Assistance (ACCMail) and clicking Activate ACCmail.
Step 2: Complete ACC's Orientation
(Only applicable if you applied before 12/7/23--If you applied after 12/7/23, it should be embedded in the application)

Complete the ACC Orientation by following this link, Austin Community College's Orientation You must have your ACCeID to complete the ACC Online Orientation
Step 3: Complete & Upload the ACC Contract
(Only applicable if you applied before 12/7/23--If you applied after 12/7/23, it should be embedded in the application)
**You should have uploaded the completed contract in the Google form above. **
IF you could not complete the contract electronically please complete and upload the ACC Contract (linked here) *open the linked PDF and choose "download" in the upper right-hand corner, this will allow you to fill in the form electronically* Then email that completed ACC Contract to Mrs. Kennedy
Step 4: Meet College Readiness Testing Requirements
Determine if you need to take the TSI Assessment (see this page for qualified exemption scores). If it is determined you are exempt from testing, you may skip to Step 5. See Mrs. Kennedy if you need help determining your status.
Sign up for a TSI Assessment at Austin Community College by clicking here OR make an appointment to test with Mrs. Kennedy.
Step 5: Complete GHS's Interests & Orientation Form
Complete the Glenn HS ACC Dual Credit Interest Form -
NO GOOGLE FORM = NO ACC CLASSES
Step 6: Meet with Mrs. Kennedy

Schedule an Appointment with Mrs. Kennedy
**Please note, without the steps listed above completed, you will not be able to do the final step (listed below) which is course planning and registering for your ACC classes**
Step 7: Plan & Register for your classes

You can attend any of the ACC Registration & Course Planning Sessions (listed below, no registration required, just show up). Get questions answered or get help with the Course Planning Steps.
PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT OFFICIALLY registered for an ACC class until you have selected the blue Register button in your self-serve account and your classes on the calendar turn green.
Note: It is the student's responsibility to work through the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) office at ACC to be approved for any accommodations in your college courses.
All Dual Credit Courses are dependent upon enrollment and professor availability.
Returning ACC Students
As a returning ACC student, follow each of the steps below:
Step 1: Complete the following:

Step 2: Plan & Register for your classes
Course Planning Step by Step
Once you have completed the steps above, access the Step by Step Course Planning Presentation.
You can attend any of the ACC Registration & Course Planning Sessions Oct. 12 or 13 at 7:45-8:00an in the GHS College and Career Center. Get questions answered or get help with the Course Planning Steps.
