Attendance is taken by teachers  minutes into each class period during the day.   Our ADA funding time is during 2nd period.

Attendance is the key to success!  Regular and punctual attendance is the greatest single factor in school success.  Texas Compulsory Attendance Law requires students to attend school regularly, unless otherwise exempted by law.  It is the responsibility of the parent and student to cooperate and communicate with the school on all attendance matters.

Home Access Absence Alerts -

If you receive an alert that your student has been marked absent and feel this was in error, please contact the teacher directly by email. Absences will not be changed without verification from that teacher.

Students that arrive to class more than 10 minutes late will receive an absence for that class period.

***  Please allow 5 days for updates to process in Home Access Center. ***

Tardies:

If a student arrives after the start of school at 9:00 a.m., the student must check in at the attendance office to receive a pass.

If a student is late to class within the first ten (10) minutes of the class, the student is marked tardy.

If a student is more than ten (10) minutes late, the student will receive an absence.  (Please refer to Absences with any questions)
