Four-Year Planning

& Course Selection

8th to 9th Grade Registration (2023/24)

8th Grade Four-Year Planning Lessons

During the months of November and December- Students will be engaging with Mrs. Anderson, 8th Grade Counselor, regarding their future plans and course selection at CPHS.  Between December 15-22, students will learn how to complete their 4- year plan online on the Naviance App via Launchpad.   These are just drafts and a way to teach students the format and flow of the plan along with thinking about their futures.  Students will create a rough draft of a four-year personal graduation plan focusing on the core classes while also exploring elective options. During 9th-12th grade, students and parents will meet with their Counselor to update their 4-year plan. This plan is a draft and subject to change each year based on your individual course selections. This is just a tool to begin thinking about your path to meet the requirements for graduation. You may also find more helpful information on the Cedar Park High School Counseling Site.
