Howdy Comets!

My name is Phyllis Chessher and I am proud to say this is my 15th year as Cox Elementary School Counselor.   I wear many hats from School Counselor to Campus State Assessment Coordinator(STAAR) to Mentors/PALS Coordinator.   This year begins my 25th year in education.  I am a proud Aggie, wife and mother.   I am married to a wonderful husband, Craig, and I am blessed to have an amazing daughter, Chloe, who is a Senior at Texas A&M University (class of 2024) studying Biomedical Sciences.

As a COMET, we are always striving to "Reach for the Stars" academically, socially and emotionally.  I love being a part of the Cox family and working with the students, staff, parents and community.  I am looking forward to another awesome year at Cox.

GO COMETS!

WHOOP and GIG 'EM AGGIES!
