January 22, 2026 - All 5th graders attending Cox Elementary will tour Henry Middle School to help them transition to 6th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Bus transportation will be provided for Cox students to tour HMS. This tour is for students only!!
******* Parents/Guardians MUST fill out this Parent Acknowledgement Form by January 20, 2026 to allow your student to attend the HMS tour. If this form is not filled out, students will not be able to ride the bus to attend the HMS tour.
STUDENTS NOT ZONED TO HMS:
If a student is NOT zoned for Henry Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year, parents may choose to take their student to their zoned middle school for a campus tour on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Transportation must be provided by the parent for visits to any middle school other than HMS. Please notify your student’s teachers and the front office if your child will be visiting their zoned middle school, rather than HMS, on January 22, 2026.
Please note that all district transfer procedures and deadlines must be completed in order for a student to be considered for a possible transfer to HMS for the 2026–2027 school year. For transfer information, please visit the district website or contact the registrar. Participation in the Cox HMS tour does not guarantee that a student zoned to a different middle school will be approved to attend HMS next year.
Parent Night - This information will come from Henry Middle School vis email and/or letter. You can check the HMS website in January for the date.
