Interscholastic League Press Conference Bronze Star Award - 2019 book
Recipients of the Star Awards represent the top 10 percent of student newspapers and yearbooks in Texas.
Interscholastic League Press Conference 1st place and Tops in Texas - Headlines - 2019 book
The Interscholastic League Press Conference is the UIL of Journalism for the state of Texas. We compete against hundreds of schools across the state in 5A. To place or win in these categories is incredibly difficult and a great achievement in student journalism. In addition, to win a Tops in Texas, means that the judges thought that the work was the best across all schools, from 1A to 6A.

Quill & Scroll Yearbook Excellence Contest Winners: Katelyn Tschoerner was the Sweepstakes Winner for Caption Writing and Mia Benge was honorable mention for her girls basketball spread. Judges chose winners out of more than 1,300 entries. In addition to the recognition, they are now also able to apply for a Quill & Scroll college scholarship.
