Students can use their Xello accounts to take a personality assessment.  This can be done independently, but they will also be completed with school counselors and in Freshman Focus class.  Once students complete the assessment and learn their Personality Style, they can use our Pathways Tool to plan out future courses and explore programs.

Students will obtain their Personality Style in the form of a Holland Code.  These are listed and explained above under the "Personality Types" tab.  Each Holland Code contains a specific group of career cluster suggestions.

Next, the student should select "Course Pathways" from the "Planning" tab.  Each Career Cluster is represented and the page will include descriptions of the careers, job outlook (highlighting high demand jobs in Ohio), and most importantly a list of suggested LHS course pathways and program options.  If further information is needed for Career Tech Programs or College Credit Plus Options please follow the links above to those specific pages.

Each career interest area will contain required courses and lists of focused electives.  In most cases, these are recommendations and suggestions. Students are free to select from all courses which they qualify.  However, we do suggest that students consider their future plans (Enrollment, Enlistment and Employment) as they make their course selections.  Later, this information will be used during course selection and registration.  Students can further research course offerings and options by finding the course descriptions in the LHS Program of Studies.
