Mondays: 3:30 - 5:00
The Concert Band is the premiere performance group for the Clinton Band Programs. Students are enrolled in class and rehearse everyday as an ensemble, preparing challenge concert music for festivals, ratings, and public performances.
Our ensemble scored an Excellent rating at Concert Performance Assessment in March, and a Superior rating in the Music in the Parks Festival at Six Flags over Georgie, this May.
Our Fine Arts Showcase and Spring concert is on May 22, from 6-7 PM. Come see us perform at the CHS Auditorium.
Required Materials:
1-2 inch binder with Plastic Sheet Protectors (Approximately 20)
Pencil and eraser

Brass:
Valve oil/trombone grease, slide grease, polishing cloth, mouthpiece brush, cleaning snake
Woodwinds:
Cork grease, 4-5 working reeds at all times, protective reeds case (highly recommended), cleaning swab, key oil
Percussion:
1 pair of Vic Firth/Innovative Percussion concert snare sticks, 1 pair of medium marimba mallets, 1 pair of xylophone mallets, 1 pair of timpani mallets. (See buying guide on Google Classroom
