Being cute and fuzzy isn’t a guarantee against being used for product testing.
Animal experimentation needs to be banned and replaced with another method of testing that is less cruel and more effective.

A Missouri school district has brought back paddling students as an alternative to suspension as per the request of some parents. It’s understandable why parents would want an alternative to suspension. Maybe they can't take off work to stay home with their child who has gotten suspended, but they should discipline their child themselves instead of having someone else do it. If a child gets disciplined at home, they are more likely to listen.

It's a typical school day, you walk into the building, say “Hi'' to your friends, and continue down the halls to your class. You walk to your seat but before you can sit down your teacher calls you over to her desk; she says that your shorts violate the dress code and that you must change or be sent home. You are sent home, missing an entire day of instruction all because your shorts were an inch too short.

The Lancaster County School District, as well as some other area school districts, has instituted a clear bag policy for home and designated athletic events beginning this 2022-23 school year.
Although not without its faults, the institution of this policy is a good idea.
The school year has just started and gun violence is already making a presence in at least four states. This causes both parents and students alike to feel anxious about what will happen at the next school sporting event.
