In an effort to advocate and provide resources to the whole child, our school along with our counseling department would like to provide resources that target mental health wellness.  Our goal is to enhance students’ social, emotional, and personal development.  This includes but is not limited to advocacy for and collaboration with all stakeholders (parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, community, etc.) to foster an environment that promotes students’ holistic maturity.  With students’ academic achievement and career goals being of the utmost significance, we will expend all opportunities to do what is necessary for every student to have equitable access to the resources essential to success.  A critical part of this process is being in touch with the emotional and social needs of students.   We will continuously update and make available as we receive, information and resources that advocate and work toward the goal of managing mental wellness.

Please see below some local resources that students and families may utilize through NAMI.  NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
