DUAL ENROLLMENT AT USC LANCASTER
2023-2024 ACADEMIC YEAR
Spring 2024
Are you new to DE and want to register for the Spring 2024?
All new students must apply for Spring 2024.
Please ask all watch the “How to Complete Dual Enrollment Application.”
Step 1. Complete online application Online application (School Designee is your child's counselor)
Step 2. Click on date to for advising and registration session for Spring November 28th, November 30th, or December 12th
** View LCSD approved DE courses as guide LCSD approved DE courses. Sessions will be held in the Bradley Arts & Sciences Building from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. You only need to register for one session. This is NOT a drop-in event and you may take one of your parents with you. **
Step 3: Students taking USCL classes on the USCL campus (ASYNC or in-person) will be required to purchase an online book, unless they choose to opt-out of purchasing the link for the online book. There will be an automatic charge to their USCL account UNLESS the opt-out option is taken. Please contact Cindy Kirk at 803-313-7073 with any questions.
Step 4: Once you have registered for your classes at USCL, log into your Self Service Carolina account and email a screenshot of your USCL schedule to your school counselor.
**Note: You must be admitted for Spring 2024 before attending any session. Acceptance letters are mailed weekly after each student’s portfolio is thoroughly reviewed by the Office of Admissions. There are GPA, citizenship, South Carolina residency, and immunization requirements before admittance is determined. Please email uscldual@mailbox.sc.edu or call 803-313-7073 if your admissions status is not known after 2 weeks from submission of required documents.*
Please note that AJHS schedules and/or transcripts will NOT be updated until USCL schedules are submitted to your school counselor.
RETURNING STUDENTS For Spring 2024
Mandatory Orientation dates: November 14th, 15th, 16th from 9:00 am -12 pm
Option 1:
Step 1: Since this is a new school year, You WILL complete another application for Spring 24 (only if you did not take classes for the Fall). Email your counselor that you plan to take Spring 2024 classes include the name of the courses.
Step 2. Please come to the Admissions Office in Starr Hall room 123 for registration. If you are unable to come by the Admissions Office, please contact Mrs. Waller at wallerdh@mailbox.sc.edu. Visit USCL Course Offerings to pick out your preferred courses prior to arrival. Use this link as a guide.

Option 2:
Students that have taken classes during the Fall 2023 on AJHS campus (such as HIST 111, HIST 112, PSYC 101 & CRJU 101) and are planning to take Spring classes on USCL campus for the first time.
Step 1: You will not apply. Your application is still active from Fall 2023. Email your school counselor that you are planning to take Spring 2024 classes. Please include in the email the names of the courses you are planning to take.*The school designee is your school counselor.*
Step 2: It is highly suggested that you register below for your USCL advising and registration session. Being on the USCL campus will be somewhat different than being on the AJHS campus and these sessions will assist in this transition. Visit USCL Course Offerings to pick out your preferred courses prior to arrival.
