(Transportation to and from the LCCC from AJHS is provided;
Courses are double blocked, which means you will be at the career center for blocks 1 & 2 or 3 & 4)
Completing 2 courses from any Pathway offered to AJHS students at the LCCC
or 2 courses from any Pathway offered at AJHS labels you as a "Concentrator"
Completing all of the courses in a Pathway gives you the distinction of "Completer,"
which allows you the opportunity:
to wear a cord at graduation
let colleges, employers, and military branches know that you completed a career Pathway
earn certifications and national career credentials
potentially earn a Career Ready Distinction on your diploma and/or Dual Enrollment credit
possibly participate in Work Based Learning or internships
You may complete more than one Pathway
You cannot start a Pathway your senior year, except for EMS which is only for seniors

Pay attention to announcements and posts in your grade level Google Classroom for exam dates (usually in February or March). You cannot request these Pathways without taking the entrance exam and getting accepted. See your counselor for more information.
