Lancaster County School District is extending the application deadline for FALL 2026 Dual Enrollment
at USC Lancaster to May 22, 2026.
Several communications have already been shared with students and families, but we do not want anyone to miss this valuable opportunity.
We are proud to share that LCSD was recognized this spring for having the most graduates earning Associate Degrees.
Please remember the following important information regarding Dual Enrollment:
• All Dual Enrollment students must apply each academic year.
• Once a student is accepted, their acceptance will cover the fall, spring, and summer terms for that academic year.
• If a current 10th grade student applies for summer classes, that acceptance will only apply to the summer term because it falls within the current academic year.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Thompson.
Application Steps
Step 1: Complete the Dual Enrollment Student Disclaimer Form and Counselor Course Approval Form and return it to your counselor. We will not send any documentation or complete any forms until this has been received.
Step 2: Complete the USCL online application and pay fee.

How are dual enrollment classes funded?
Dual enrollment classes are paid for with SC Lottery funds. You must have a 3.0 GPA to qualify for those funds. The money you spend on DE classes will NOT reduce the scholarship you are awarded when you graduate from high school. HOWEVER, it is IMPERATIVE that you maintain a 3.0 GPA in those college classes, or you risk losing your lottery scholarship.
Who can take Dual Enrollment Classes?
Only Juniors and Seniors can participate in the Dual Enrollment program. However, sophomores can take DE classes the summer after their sophomore year.
