HOME SWIM MEETS
The primary way the Lincoln City Swim Club raises funds is by hosting two USA Swimming-sanctioned meets each year, the dates may vary from year to year.
The success of these events relies heavily on the support of our families.
We ask that all parents participate in both meets by volunteering for various jobs before and during the event. These volunteer roles are a great way to fulfill a significant portion of your family's monthly service hour requirements.
Get Involved!

Being a certified USA Swimming official is an impactful way you can support our club while completing service hours. Many away swim meets require participating clubs to provide a certain number of officials. Having our own certified officials ensures our swimmers can compete. Having a strong roster of certified officials is essential for us to host and sanction our own home swim meets, which are our primary source of fundraising.
All hours spent officiating, as well as time spent training for your certification and renewals, count toward your service hours. Reach out to our LCSC Officials Rep or the LSC Official's Chair to get started! Below is a list of the different types of official certifications through USA Swimming.

Enforces the false start protocol, ensuring a fair start for all competitors.
Reports start violations to the referee.
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIAL

If you have any questions regarding your bill or cannot pay your bill on time please contact Billing billing@lcscswim.org. Lincoln City Swim Club is a non-profit organization that is volunteer ran and operates from donations, grants, and swimmer's monthly dues. We strive to keep our dues as low as possible to allow income-restricted families the opportunity to swim. LCSC swimmer dues are some of the lowest in the state, averaging 50% lower than any other swim team .
Late Fees and Collections
To keep our club costs as low as possible for everyone, it is essential that all dues are paid on time. Monthly billing statements are sent out, and payment is expected within 30 days of receipt. Please note that we are unable to adjust or waive dues.
Accounts that are 30 and 60 days past due will be subject to late fees, as listed in the LCSC Billing Policy. Any account that is 91 days or more past due will be sent to collections. Your cooperation helps ensure the financial health of our club.
USA Swimming Registration
The annual USA Swimming registration fee is a separate, additional cost from your monthly LCSC dues. You are responsible for registering your swimmer and paying the fee directly to USA Swimming, as it is a separate entity. This fee will not appear on your monthly statement.
For more information on USA Swimming memberships and the registration process, please refer to the "USA Swimming Registration" section on this page.
Sanctioned Swim Meet Fees
Membership dues do not cover the cost of sanctioned swim meet registration and event fees. Each meet varies in pricing. These costs are billed to you on top of monthly dues. For more information on Swim Meet charges see the LCSC Billing Policy.
USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States, providing a structured, safe, and competitive environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities, from beginners to Olympic-level athletes. This includes a wide membership of coaches, officials, volunteers, and swimmers.

The Taft Swim Team is a sperate entity, outside the Lincoln City Swim Club, that is governed by Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) and the Lincoln County School District.
The Taft High School Swim Team operates from late November through March, during Taft High School's winter sports season. The Taft Swim Team is funded through the Taft High School and the Taft Tiger Boosters Club. Taft Swim Team registration typically opens up in October. Along with registration, the Lincoln County School District requires all thier athletes to have an updated physical (good for 2 years) and take a concussion baseline evaluation called the ImPACT Test.
Taft's ImPACT Code is U7K8QT6M22.
To register your swimmer for the high school swim team or for more information regarding Taft High School Sports please visit the Taft 7-12 Athletics Page. For home schooled swimmers there is extra paperwork, please ask for the Taft High School Athletic Director at 541-996-2115.
Each year all Taft Athletes must take an ImPACT Test prior to registration. If your athlete has already taken the ImPACT test once for this current school year they will not need to do another one. It is a 20- to 30-minute computer-based test that helps measure multiple aspects of cognitive function. The results are then used as a baseline of cognitive function in the case of a concussion. Below is the link to the Impact Test. Test results need to be emailed to the Taft Athletic Secretary at kori.bayer@lincoln.k12.or.us
