LCSC Board meetings are held on the
2nd Tuesday of every other month
The time and location for each meeting will be announced in advance.
These meetings are open to everyone and serve as the core forum for the organization and operation of the Lincoln City Swim Club.

Swim Meet Planning Committee
This committee is responsible for planning all sanctioned swim meets hosted by the LCSC. The Meet Director serves as the chair of this committee. There are many different positions on this committee: Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Meet Director, Concessions Manager, Raffle Organizer, Entry Chair, Hotel Coordinator, and Hospitality Supervisor are to name a few. Out of all the committees this committee meets the most, as a lot of planning goes into USA Swimming Sanctioned Swim Meets.
This committee supports the LCSC's service program by tracking service hours and providing the necessary data to the Board Treasurer for invoicing swimmer families who have not met their required service hours. The Volunteer Engagement Manager chairs this committee. The inclusion of a secretary is recommended. To effectively manage the billing of service hour fees to swimmer families, the committee will meet at a minimum frequency that supports this schedule. This committee also helps keep track of all the open positions and committee meetings available for service.
This committee may be established as a planning committee for specific fundraising events under the direction of the Fundraiser Coordinator, who serves as the committee chair. If formed for event planning, the committee will require a secretary and a treasurer. The planning of LCSC-hosted swim meets is specifically handled by the Swim Meet Planning Committee and is outside the scope of this committee. Fundraisers can range from Splash-a-thons or Swim Clinics to 50/50 restuarant events or carwashes.
This committee is responsible for processing applications for LCSC outreach programs (such as The Family Hardship Scholarship/ other family assistance programs developed by the Lincoln City Swim Club) and external agency outreach opportunities. The committee will also track the number of participating swimmers in these programs and ensure that up-to-date outreach information is readily available to LCSC families. The Outreach Specialist chairs this committee. The inclusion of a secretary is recommended. The committee will meet at a minimum frequency dictated by the application deadlines for both LCSC and external outreach programs.
This committee is responsible for developing and implementing the LCSC's media and marketing strategies. It ensures that all media (social media, newspaper articles, videos, etc.) and advertising adhere to the LCSC Media Policies and the Safe Sport Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy. The committee is also responsible for sponsor recognition on LCSC social media outlets and the LCSC website. The Media Manager serves as the committee chair. A secretary is recommended, and a treasurer is required if the committee plans to request funds for advertising or other expenses.
