LEA Executive Team Officers
The Executive Team Officers organize and carry out the most nebulous tasks of the LEA. You can think of them as the “navigators” of the union—charting and adjusting the course!
President: Assists the Chairs of Communications & Resolutions; sets direction and goals for the local union; updates LEA website; maintains relations between staff and administration.
Membership Chair: Assists the Discussion Chair; organizes the Association (Building) Representatives to manage membership updates; helps to coordinate 1-to-1 member check-ins.
Bargaining Chair: Assists the Advocacy Chair; organizes the Bargaining Representatives to run pre-bargaining and formal bargaining sessions; surveys members on contract priorities.
Treasurer: Assists the Event Chair; handles budget and expenses for the LEA; approves funding for events, scholarships, and member materials.
