LEA Action Team Officers
Navigators are nothing without a trusted team to carry out the boots-on-the-ground work! The Action Team Officers are those who handle major tasks organized and guided by the Executive Team Officers.
Communications Chair: Composes and distributes a quarterly newsletter via email; checks in with other Action Team Chairs to post updates on social media accounts.
Resolutions Chair: Advises Association (Building) Representatives on conflict resolution; researches validity and fairness of procedures and protocol.
Discussion Chair: Leads monthly LCSC (corporation-level) Meet-and-Discuss; organizes and checks in with building-level discussion chairs.
Advocacy Chair: Keeps up-to-date on legislative updates to collaborate with Communications Chair; organizes and leads days of action with guidance from the Bargaining Chair.
Events Chair: Plans and executes the LEA's contribution to the New Hire Orientation and the annual Retirement & Recognition Dinner with guidance from the Treasurer.
