Scholarships & Financial Aid

Completing scholarship applications and financial aid forms is one of the most important steps in the college application process. If you don't complete applications and forms, you won't get free money. As scholarship applications are made available, an electronic version will be posted here. There are three sections of scholarships posted on this page:

Local Scholarships - these are scholarships typically provided by local donors and civic organizations to Conway High School seniors. These scholarship applications will be available online and in paper form. Paper copies of scholarship applications will be available in Mrs. Strubbe's office, as well as, Ms. Vestal and Mrs. Spradling's classrooms. All local scholarship applications will be turned in to Mrs. Strubbe.

Regional Scholarships - these are scholarships typically provided by large foundations, civic organizations, and businesses to students in the state of Missouri or in the Ozark region of the country. These applications are usually only available through an online application process and will be submitted online. READ DIRECTIONS to ensure you are submitting your applications correctly and including the correct components.

National Scholarships - these are scholarships offered to students throughout the country. They are often provided by large businesses (think Coca-Cola) or philanthropists. These scholarship are highly competitive and often have large dollar amounts attached.

Tips for Students:

  • You should NEVER pay for scholarship applications or searches. Scholarships are FREE money given to deserving students and should never require any type of payment. If a scholarship or search engine is asking for a payment, it is a scam.
  • Current scholarship information will be posted as soon as it becomes available to the CHS Counseling Office.
  • Seniors who are planning on completing a scholarship application should contact Mrs. Strubbe for assistance. If you would like for Mrs. Strubbe or another faculty member to review a scholarship application, please bring it to him/her a week PRIOR to the deadline date. This will allow you to make any needed corrections and still meet the scholarship deadline.
  • Students that do not have access to a computer may use the school computers.
  • If you have any additional help or questions contact Mrs. Strubbe by email at rstrubbe@lcr1.org or by phone at 417-589-2941.
  • As scholarships become due, please be aware that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TURNING IN THE SCHOLARSHIP BY THE DEADLINE!
  • All local scholarship applications need to be turned in to Mrs. Strubbe.
