LAPTOP COMPUTERS:
All long-term and site-based substitutes may receive a laptop device from their school's Digital Experience Specialist (DES) for use during their position. Daily substitutes will issued a device upon check in and return it during check out teach day.

CONNECTING TO THE PROMETHEAN PANEL
LCPSGO (http://go.lcps.org) enables staff and students to access many LCPS apps and files though one website, while also allowing users to change their LCPS Enterprise Active Directory (LEAD) passwords from anywhere, anytime.
When substitutes arrive at the school, the Digital Experience Specialist (DES) will assist them with obtaining a computer, logging in, connecting to the Promethean Panel, and resolving any connectivity or access issues. For ongoing classroom technology support, substitutes should collaborate with the Instructional Facilitator for Technology (IFT), who can guide them in using digital tools. If additional assistance is needed, substitutes should be directed to the on-site DES or IFT, who are available to provide support and training.
Schoology is the Learning Management System used by all classrooms in Loudoun County Public Schools. Schoology provides a digital platform that allows you to extend student learning beyond the walls of the classroom and provide easy access to digital resources, activities, and assignments. PHOENIX: Phoenix is a comprehensive student information system. Teacher primarily use the Grade Book system, while the Student Information System is used primarily by administrators and front office personal.
Phoenix Grade Book is used to:
maintain electronic grade book
create interim progress reports and quarterly report cards
run reports to gather information on individual students or an entire class
take student attendance
take lunch counts
create seating charts
access information about students (medical information, parent's address and phone number)
communicate with parents and students via email
Provide access to students to view grades and missing assignments through the ParentVue Portal to view grades and missing assignments

E-hallpass (EHP) is a browser-based online system that is used to manage all pass situations. e-hallpass replaces antiquated methods of administering hall passes. The system enhances school security and helps to simplify classroom management. Teachers log into their system dashboard to monitor and approve passes, and access reporting.
You can access e-hallpass by going to www.e-hallpass.com/login. Select the login option that applies and enter the appropriate credentials.
Approving a Student Pass: Teachers have two options to approve a student pass:
From the dashboard, by clicking Approve as shown to the right.
From the student device, by clicking the checkmark by the teacher’s name and entering the appropriate PIN in the box shown below. (Teachers set their PIN in their Profile Settings.)
