GETTING STARTED (FOR NEWLY HIRED SUBSTITUTES)
As a newly hired substitute, you should have received your “Welcome Packet.” It contains valuable information and resources that will help ensure your successful integration into LCPS! Please take a few minutes to read through this guide to familiarize yourself with the information shared and the steps needed to be successful in your first assignment.
To get started, you will need the following information that was provided to you via email.
PID Number
LCPS Email Address
LCPS Username
Initial Password
LET'S GET STARTED
STEP 1: Activate and set up your SmartFind Express Account. This involves logging in for the first time and establishing a unique password. SmartFind Express, or SFE, is the substitute management system that is utilized by LCPS to fill teacher and staff absences. All substitutes have the flexibility to select jobs according to their own individual schedule and preferences.
STEP 2: Create your LCPS User Account. To access your account, you must know your PID number and your lead login, which were provided to you. Follow the instructions to set up your account and create your password. If you are a current part-time employee, you do not need to re-register. Once completed, you will be prompted to complete the Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication.
STEP 3: Access LCPSGO. LCPSGO provides easy access to the many LCPS web applications and files stored on school drives or in the cloud. It can be accessed from any computer, tablet, or smartphone.
STEP 4: Familiarize yourself with the Substitute Website. It contains useful information and LCPS resources that will help you be successful in your new role!
