These are the settings applied to Teacher devices
Teacher Client Connectivity
- Device can connect through the Cloud Service Appliance
Teacher Distribution and Patch
- Attempt file download from "Peer", "Preferred Server", and "Source"
- Use 100% of available client bandwidth to download files
- Check for updated software policies every 1 day at a random time and at user login
- Do Not notify user before beginning software or patch distribution
- Run vulscan.exe (Patch Scanner) every 5 days
- Scan for "Vulnerabilities", "Security Threats", "Ivanti Updates", "Software Updates", and "Custom Definitions"
- Autofix is Enabled
- Automatically continue install/remove actions after prereqs are met
Teacher Inventory
- Automatically run software scan on device after software deployment within 30 minutes
- Run inventory "miniscan" when IP address changes (small inventory scan with IP address info)
- Run delta inventory scan every 2 days at a random time
Teacher Power Plan
- No LDMS Power Plan applied. Devices receive a default Windows power plan called "LCPS-Teacher" with "always on" settings
Teacher Distribution and Patch Reboot
- Detect whether reboot is needed
- Prompt user before rebooting, allowing 5 days to defer a reboot
- Automatically reboot when:
- Logged out for 5 minutes OR
- No response to reboot prompt for 4 hours OR
- Reboot deadline exceeds 7 days
Teacher Remote Control
- System Tray icon always visible
- Permission required for remote control
