DDI deploys LDMS agents to all supported Windows devices. Each device may have different agent settings depending on the purpose of the device (for example Staff vs. Instructional). Agent settings can be identified in the following locations in the LANDESK Inventory record for the device:
When devices are provisioned (imaged), devices install a generic agent called "Client". After installing the generic agent, the agent settings needed for that device are deployed automatically as part of the provisioning template. if a device has the "Client" agent installed, look at the agent settings attributes to see the behavior of the agent.
Manual agent installations can be found at S:\Technology Services\LANDesk Agent Deployment. These are pre-bundled agents that already have the correct settings included.
