On September 21, 2010,  a little baby Alligator named Gigi hatched out of her egg alongside her brothers and sisters in the swamp of Weeki Wachi, Florida. 

Their mother named all of her new babies. There was George, Geoffrey, Gracie, Gustov, and Gigi.  All of her brothers and sisters seemed to have special talents. Gracie was great at swimming, George had excellent vision and could see things from far away, Geoffrey had the sharpest teeth that could cut anything, and Gustov was well known for his ability to build a fantastically cozy alligator nest. Gigi never felt like she fit in with her family. They were all so talented and Gigi couldn't do anything as well as they could do it. So one night Gigi decided to run away. She left a note for her family and set out to find her own path...

We don't know what happens next in this story-that's for you to decide! The only thing we do know is that she becomes the mascot of Goshen Post.
