SHE DID IT!
The final destination of Lion Pride Run VI was the Reflecting Pool situated between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.
The run took place on April 4 and 5. Kate Fletcher traveled approximately 105 miles in 27 hours! She overcame fear, pain, fatigue, and even rain along the way. But she was so determined, she conquered this seemingly impossible challenge.
The Reflecting Pool held special significance to this run. If we look inside ourselves, we can overcome any challenge or obstacle in front of us.
Kate Fletcher would like everyone to know that we are filled with boundless potential if only we have the courage to look within ourselves and see it!

This is the approximate route she took. Thank you to all our friends along the way who put out signs to support Kate during her run.
We would also like to thank all the police escorts we had along the way:
Orange County Sheriff's Office
Culpeper County Sheriff's Office
Fauquier County Sheriff's Office
Prince William County Police
Manassas City Police Department
Fairfax County Sheriff's Office
City of Fairfax Police Department
Falls Church Police Department
Virginia State Police Department
Kate Fletcher graduated high school in Northern Virginia. When she realized she would be running by her former high school, we took the chance and got in contact with the track and cross country coaches there. As she ran by what is now known as Meridian High School, the entire cross country team came out to meet her as she traveled on her journey!
The Mayor also welcomed her into Falls Church. It was a spectacular moment right when she needed it most. Read more about it by clicking the button to the right! Thank you Falls Church and Meridian High School.
The shirt design for 2022 was inspired by Fletcher's own motto. There is really #Nofinishline for resilience and education!
