Testing

Step 1: Sign up for Primary

In our efforts to keep our students and community safe, our school will continue participating in the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) COVID-19 testing program.

All previously signed consents for the CDPH expired on June 30, 2022 therefore all participants will need to sign new consents.

Returning Students and Staff will have the opportunity to review their registration information and sign the new school year consent.

Step 2: Obtain School Issued Home Tests

LCMSD will be periodically issuing COVID tests for use at home. These are for LCMSD students or staff only and should be used when symptoms are present and/or when recommended by school personnel. Additionally, students who are sent to the office with symptoms may receive a school-based COVID test.

If you need at-home COVID tests, please contact your school's office.

Step 3: Report Results of Home Tests

If you or a household member tests positive for COVID, please inform us immediately using this email: covidreporting@lcmschools.org

Remember, report all school issued test results (positive and negative) here.

Additional COVID Testing Information

Please visit the Marin County Department of Health page for more information regarding COVID-19 testing.

Parents/guardians should inform the school as soon as possible if their child or family member tests positive for COVID-19 or it is suspected by their healthcare provider or if they may have been exposed to COVID-19. In order to keep this information private, you may contact the District Nurse, Principal, Chief Business Official or Superintendent Larkspur-Corte Madera School District.

Any student or staff member who has tested positive must stay home and follow Test or 10.

What antigen tests are acceptable for home use? All FDA approved antigen (rapid) tests will be accepted in LCMSD (see list here)
