For students: Stay home (isolate) if you have COVID-19 symptoms, until you have not had a fever for 24 hours without using fever reducing medication AND other COVID-19 symptoms are mild and improving.

For staff (as per Cal/OSHA): Stay home (isolate) if you have COVID-19 symptoms (with or without fever), from the day of symptom onset until at least 24 hours have passed. Excluded employees may return when 24 hours have passed with no fever without using fever reducing medication AND other COVID-19 symptoms are mild and improving.
It is strongly recommended that you wear a mask on days 1-10 when indoors at school. You may remove your mask sooner than 10 days if you have two sequential negative tests at least one day apart. Day 0 is symptom onset date or positive test date.

Fever (100.4°F/38°C or higher) or chills
Cough
Sore throat
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Not being able to taste or smell, or saying that things taste or smell different (within the last 10 days)
Headache
Diarrhea
Nausea or vomiting
New onset of stuffy or runny nose (different from pre-existing allergies)
Body aches (muscle aches or “bones hurting”)
Unusually tired, lethargic or “low-energy
