Important Lunch Service Information

Every student is eligible for a Free lunch now through JUNE 9, 2022

Please take advantage of this generous offer from the State of California & USDA. By ordering online at www.thelunchmaster.com you will secure a lunch for your child that can be picked up each Monday between the hours of 11am and 12:30pm.

*No lunch service Thanksgiving break, Winter break, Presidents week and Spring break.

It is important to pick up your lunch if you order one. When a lunch is ordered but not picked up the District is not reimbursed by the state and loses $4.25 per lunch. This adds up.

DEADLINES: please place orders by the Thursday prior at 10am. LunchMaster will open a month of ordering at a time to help alleviate missing the deadline.

On August 31st, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released nine Summer Meal Program Waiver Extensions that allows schools that have started the new school year to use the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through December 30, 2020 instead of the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. These waivers are in response to the nationwide COVID-19 pandemic.

*Update as of October 9, 2020 The California Department of Education Nutrition Services Division is pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the following twelve nationwide COVID-19 waivers. These waivers extend existing flexibilities through June 30, 2022.

What does this mean to LCSMD??? This means anyone under the age of 18 is eligible for lunch at no cost. You do not need to be eligible for Free or Reduced lunch to receive lunch, we will not ask for any information. If you would like to be eligible for a P-EBT card, you should submit an application to show you qualify for Free or Reduced paid lunch. Deadline 8/15/21
