Am I eligible for an insurance plan?

If/when you become eligible for an insurance plan, you will be enrolled automatically by default.  Participation in the group insurance plan is compulsory for all eligible employees according to the law on Drug Insurance in Quebec and your collective agreement. This law requires your participation as of your first eligible day (first working day OR retroactively to the first day of your contract) and you will be billed accordingly.  If you wish to decline the Board's insurance, you will be asked to provide evidence that you are covered by another plan, such as that of your spouse's employer.  For questions about insurance plans, please contact the agent responsible in HR at 514 422 3000 x31135.
