Am I eligible for an insurance plan?
If/when you become eligible for an insurance plan, you will be enrolled automatically by default. Participation in the group insurance plan is compulsory for all eligible employees according to the law on Drug Insurance in Quebec and your collective agreement. This law requires your participation as of your first eligible day (first working day OR retroactively to the first day of your contract) and you will be billed accordingly. If you wish to decline the Board's insurance, you will be asked to provide evidence that you are covered by another plan, such as that of your spouse's employer.

Does LBPSB offer an employee assistance program (EAP)?
Yes, employees with a Regular status type are eligible for a wide array of services offered by Telus Health. If you have questions regarding your status type which are not answered by the documents linked above, please contact your staffing agent (see HR Directory).

Does the board have a pension plan?
All workers in Quebec participate in the Quebec Pension Plan. Employees of the Lester B. Pearson School Board also participate in a public service pension plan. For information about participation, retirement eligibility, calculations, and more, consult the websites linked below.
