All attendance at conferences requires an additional approval through the MSD Division Director's office and/or the LBNL Conference Services department. This includes participation in any conferences which have registration fees, regardless of whether they are in-person or virtual.

This also applies to any meetings (in-person or virtual) hosted by a non-US entity, with or without associated costs. For more information, please contact Jasmine Harris.

You can read in detail about DOE-funded conference attendance requirements HERE. As early as possible (even if you are not sure you will attend), please fill out the below request form. You can let Jasmine Harris know if you will not attend the conference later.

NOTE: This list is not all conferences and you still must submit your name on the form below for ALL conference travel on DOE funds. For these conferences it is recommended that you submit your name as soon as you are even considering going to ensure that your travel expenses will be reimbursable.
