macOS(Ventura and Newer)

• Open System Settings

• Click on Printers & Scanners at the bottom left of the list of options

• Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax and a new window should pop up

• In the next window click middle icon of a globe at the top to manually configure a printer(See Picture)

On the next screen do the following steps

1. Enter the printer's network address in the address field.

2. Select HP Jetdirect - Socket as the protocol, leave the queue blank

3. Allow the printer to be discovered and the driver auto detected. If you receive “Generic PostScript” that’s okay. 

4. Click Add
