School counselors push into classrooms to administer lessons on the programming process and to discuss course offerings available for the following school year. Families are encouraged to review the curriculum guide, and discuss course offerings prior to individual programming appointments. Students are expected to be active participants in individual student programming appointments. Counselors meet individually with each student to discuss the program of study, and students are required to complete an Individual Annual Progress Review form, yearly. This information aids individual conversations in regards to course selection.
You will receive a summary of the course requests via email once your child’s school counselor has met with, and discussed course options with your child. If you have any questions regarding course requests, please contact your child’s school counselor as soon as possible.
